Each month, the Matalan Style Project sets four UK fashion bloggers out on a mission to create an entire outfit with Matalan clothes focused on a specific theme.
The theme for this month is ‘English Heritage’, which fits perfectly with the onset of these cold autumn months. Here’s how our four bloggers styled it –
The bloggers this month are:
Jo from http://giventodistractingothers.blogspot.com/
Alex from http://www.medicatedfollower.com/
Lauren from http://www.realhousewifeofsuffolk.blogspot.co.uk/
Tami from http://tami-bee.blogspot.co.uk/
‘Is that a starling?’ Jo from Given to Distracting Others goes bird watching in the woods wearing skinny jeans and a basic cami. To keep warm, Jo’s layered a chunky cable knit scarf over a grey check wrap, finished off with a pair of lace up brogues. We love how Jo has carried the wine colour through her outfit.
Alex from Medicated Follower of Fashion wraps up in a dogtooth shawl over teal skinny cords and a long-sleeve black top. We love the way the berry ballet shoes and red satchel complement Alex’s hair, whilst the skinny horse belt completes the Heritage look.
Lauren from Real Housewife of Suffolk County is ready for the great outdoors in these quirky lace-up wellies. The table check shirt works well with the burgundy chinos, whilst the vintage bird spot scarf adds a feminine touch to the overall outfit.
Tami from Tami-Bee steps out in this cute tartan smock paired with a chunky mustard scarf. To keep her feet nice and cosy she matches these pretty button socks with brown biker boots, giving the outfit a tough edge.
So, who do you think should take the coveted title of Matalan Style Project Winner this month?
Let us know by commenting below with the name of the blogger you think should win, e.g. ‘Tami-bee’.
