Style Project – The Statements
This month’s edition of the Style Project sees four fab fashion bloggers take on our new range of stylish staples ‘The Statements’. Designed to take the stress out of dressing, these staples can be worn in so many ways, making them the building blocks of any wardrobe. Our bloggers couldn’t wait to get started on this challenge, and each chose one key item from The Statements to build their outfits around, with a budget of just £50.
This month we have:
Elizabeth – Rosalilium wearing The Fit and Flare Dress
Tara – The Style Rawr wearing The Skinny Jeans
Zoe – Fashionable Addict wearing The Printed Blouse
Natasha – So on Trend wearing The Pencil Skirt
Elizabeth’s plum coloured Fit and Flare Dress looks great against her auburn hair, and we just love the flared skirt and short sleeves on this dress. This key piece works well on its own, so Elizabeth keeps the rest of the outfit simple with a pair of opaque tights and white stilettos.
Tara focuses on the style staple Skinny Jean for her outfit, and paired with a comfy long length Breton tee, Tara showcases some great casual style. A pair of nude leather ballet pumps lets the tee do the talking whilst this stylish black trilby adds an indie twist. Tara accessorizes with a matching gold cuff and gold rings.
Zoe definitely makes a statement with these stripe shorts and Printed Blouse, putting together a gorgeous grungy monochrome look. An oversize jumper tones down the strong stripes, but you don’t always need to be afraid of mixing up the direction of stripes. A metallic clutch adds a bit of shine, whilst these sought after cut-out boots complete the outfit.
Tasha looks effortlessly refined in our delicate cream blouse and black Pencil Skirt from The Statements range. A silver drop necklace worn under the collar adds a touch of sparkle to the neckline, whilst a leopard print faux fur belt adds in some pattern and cinches in the waist. Tasha completes the look with an oversized monochrome clutch and a pair of black patent loafers.
